Some people have an amazing ability in the kitchen, they love to cook and bake and can create their own recipes on a whim and whip up something delicious with what seems like little effort. I am NOT one of those people! The kitchen is the last place I like to be. I can think of hundreds of things I would rather do than cooking in the kitchen 😉
When I’m in the kitchen I try to maximize my time there. I like to cook healthy meals for my family, in the shortest amount of time and staying within our food budget. Fast & Frugal is how I like it 🙂 On these pages I will share with you the recipes I have tried and tested and which have received the thumbs up from our family. 😉 If I can make these, anybody can 😉 They are fast, easy, and using as few ingredients as necessary. Nothing fancy or hard to find, but simple ingredients you can easily find at the local store or online.
In an effort to eat healthy I strive to use recipes that are gluten free (but still taste amazing) and refined sugar free (I try to use things like maple syrup and honey to sweeten things) Although the odd time there might be some recipes that don’t fit into these categories but are too delicious not to share 🙂 Meal planning and printables will be coming soon so be sure to sign up for our newsletter so you don’t miss out 🙂
